You will also need to have a stretcher bar, tension bar, and tension wire. These components will help to hold the chain link mesh in place. They can also be woven through the bottom of the chain link mesh to make sure that it stays secure.
Once you have the tools you need, you will need to dig the holes. Line posts should be placed 4 inches to 6-inches deep, while corner posts should be 6-inches to 8 inches deep. If you are going to be installing your fence on a slope, you will also need to adjust the posts so that they slope gradually from one end to the other.
When digging your holes, you will need a helper. A helper can help to hold the fence posts while you fill the holes.
